Miss Jolee turns one!

Oh little Jolee is such a precious one! We went to her Mamaw's and Pawpaw's house for her session. They had such a cool place and I was very thankful we got to shoot there. I just loved Jolee's first outfit and especially the boots...but she came alive when we put the tutu on her! Here are a few from her session...

Mint Turbines, LLC

I had a second opportunity to work with the fine folks at Mint Turbines, LLC (formerly known as Northstar Aerospace) over in Stroud. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I shot for them last year, but after meeting all of them, I was looking forward to going back this year! It's an awesome operation they have going on over there...and the people working there are some of the nicest around. I will say, however, I'm probably not their favorite person since I had to take pictures of each and every one of them...but they did manage to cut me some slack! :-)

Maggie Mae is one!

Little Maggie Mae recently celebrated her first birthday! It seems like just yesterday I was at her house shooting her newborn session. I was happy to see her again because it had been a few months and she had changed quite a bit. She greeted me with a smile and a wave...and even a pacifier! She did great during her session, but she did manage to keep the tradition of giving me one good fit-throwing image! She's a bundle of sweet and sassy all rolled up into one!

Katie rocked it!

What a FUN session I had with Miss Katie and her mom! If you know her mom, Kristen, then you know that Katie is definitely a "Mini Kristen!" Wow...they look so much alike! I was so tickled when she showed up in her cool new outfit...so cute!! Once Katie found her "inner-model" the session was ON!

It was great getting to meet Katie...and so nice to see an old friend again after way too long! Check out some of the cool images we shot...

Baby Mady

I was SO excited when Baby Mady came for a visit from OKC! I have had a very "lop-sided" ratio of boys to girls lately when it come to shooting newborns. Don't get me wrong...I adore my little boys as I have two little stinkers myself! However...it was SO nice to get to pull out some flowers and hats and headbands...and PINK! Mady was SUCH a sweet and pretty baby! Mom, dad and grandma came with Mady for her session. Dad was SO great with her and obviously VERY proud! It's always endearing to see my clients so "over-the-moon" for their new babies. I can't wait to see you guys again!

Baby Conner

Baby Conner is the sweetest! He had to have been one of the best babies I have worked with! He never made a peep through the entire session...and he only managed to "christen" one thing...which was his uncle's firefighter jacket! It was very much a pleasure to finally get to meet Kyndel and Drew, too! You guys did great! You have an adorable little bundle to be very proud of!!

Lindsay's Lap

Is that an infectious smile or what?! I had the pleasure of shooting Lindsay's three-year session a while back. Lindsay is very special to me. She is just one of those kids who changes you when you meet them. Lindsay was born premature which caused the loss of her vision and a few other challenges. She certainly did not lose her winning smile and great giggle!

Lindsay was recently accepted into the Little Lighthouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents are very excited as they feel this will be the place where Lindsay will have the chance to bloom and grow. The Little Lighthouse is a Christian developmental center serving children with special needs.

Lindsay will be participating in her first MiniLaps Fundraiser at the Little Lighthouse track on Saturday, September 26th at 10 a.m. At MiniLaps she will take a lap around the Little Light House track. Since she isn't walking yet, her parents will be helping her. They feel super confident that through the help of the Little Lighthouse she will be doing it on her own soon.

I am asking that you please consider sponsoring Lindsay's lap by making a donation to the Little Lighthouse. For as little as $5, you can make a huge difference in the lives of special children in our community.

For more information about the Little Lighthouse and how to sponsor Lindsay Farris, please visit their website at www.littlelighthouse.org.

Thank you for taking the time to check out such a special cause...it means a lot to me!
