Tyler | Bristow High School

With actual temperatures around 106, I think Tyler's session wins for the hottest session of the year! It was actually nice driving to different locations just so we would have time to cool off! LOL! Tyler, like most guys, was not the most willing participant...but I think after a little while he realized it wasn't so bad. Well, until I put him in a huge batch of stickers! Whoops!! LOL! Hope you have a great senior year, Tyler! And thanks for hanging in there during our hot and "stickery" session! :)

Emily | Sapulpa High School

Emily was such a good sport during her session. I always love it when I have a subject that isn't afraid to do some of the crazy things I ask them to do. Emily and her mom even took a ride on the tail-gate of the pick-up to get to another location...with my 10-year-old at the wheel (in a pasture, of course!). Emily is a beautiful and sweet senior and did a great job during her session. Best of luck, Emily, on a fantastic senior year!

Kate & MacKenzie

I've worked with Kate on a couple of occasions in the past, but this time she brought along her cousin, MacKenzie. Both girls did a wonderful job! We also even tossed in MacKenzie's little brother for a couple of shots, but he wasn't too much up for picture taking. :)

Miss Sara Kate...& big brothers, too!

I had the pleasure of working with the Vogt's a while back for a family session. Much to my surprise I received a call letting me know there was a new little Vogt in the family...Miss Sara Kate! So happy they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl to add to the mix of big, burly boys. :) And oh how her big brothers love her...it was so sweet seeing them with her. She's truly such a pretty baby, and I can't wait to see her again!

The Brown Family

After many reschedules due to weather, I was finally able to get together with the Brown family for their session. Unfortunately, we waited until it was really hot...BUT...that seems to be a common theme lately! I can't believe how big (and cute) the kids have gotten...it had been a while since I had seen them last. Here are just a few from their session...

Cousins!

Grandma Charlotte called me recently to set up a session for her four grandkids. We met at the park and had a memorable time. The last time I worked with these guys was a couple of years ago, so everyone sure had grown! Little Conner was just a baby at the time...and my goodness, he's quite the chatterbox now! LOL! Here are a few from their session...

Look who's back...Kellen!!

I shot Kellen for the first time last year when he and his mom were back home from Ohio visiting family. I was so excited when she contacted me this year and said they were coming back and wanted another session for Kellen. How can you not love Kellen?! Just look at that handsome face! It was great seeing you again, Nicole and Kellen!

AAAHHHH...August!

I cannot believe it's already August! My boys start school in 17 days...and it makes me sad! I can admit summers in the past have been a little frustrating trying to balance working and the boys at home...but this summer was different. We've had so much fun, and it seemed finding balance was much easier this summer (and yes, this might have something to do with my mom being retired now and helping me on the days I was really busy! LOL!). So is it just me, or have summers gotten shorter?! I swear it seemed like when I was a kid summer lasted for half a year! I'm not ready to let go of the lazy days of summer...the random schedule of getting up and going somewhere or doing something whenever you feel like it with minimal obligations interfering.

So this post is dedicated to my family...especially my boys. I love you so much! I'm so thankful we've had such a fun summer. I'm thankful we've made some special memories. I'm super thankful I have a job that has allowed me to enjoy you so much. And I'm really sad it's coming to an end soon. I love you guys!!
