Introducing...Drake

Baby Drake made his arrival into the world a little early consequently "messing up" plans for his military daddy to be there for his birth. Thankfully daddy did make it home shortly after to enjoy some time with him before returning to Iraq. I had the pleasure of shooting his first session...which thankfully did include dad. Check out Baby Drake...

Itzy Bitzy...footware fun for lil' ones!

So you have probably noticed all this talk about "shoe sessions" on my blog. I held a model search a while back looking for new little people to help model children's shoes and accessories. Well...I am pleased to FINALLY announce WHO I have been doing all this for...www.itzybitzy.com! My images will be featured in the redesigning of their website, as well as in their new catalog and advertising material!

You HAVE to check out their shoes...they are the COOLEST! They have so many cute styles AND they even squeak! I know first hand that while working with my kids for the shoe sessions that the kids just LOVED them! As well as shoes, they also carry a variety of very cute accessories such as hats and head bands.

Be sure to check back for more information as to when their redesigned website will be complete! I will also be featuring on my blog new products as they receive them, as well as advertisements as they run them.

Shoe Session: Part 2

We FINALLY got to shoot Part 2 of the shoe session a couple of weeks ago. The rain has been my nemesis lately! For this session, I had a group of my younger kiddos. I would like to send out a big thank you to Miley, Jadyn, Brynlee, Karter, Tate and Maggie. They did a GREAT job! I would also like to send out a special thank you to Jenny Brown for letting us borrow her yard for the session. Take a look at the fun shots we got from the session!

Happy Mother's Day!

To all you moms out there...and especially my own...I want to wish you a very special Happy Mother's Day (a little late)! I'm pretty bummed because I had special plans with my own mom that had to be cancelled due to whatever crud I have come down with. At the very least I want to say that I'm so very thankful to have such a supportive and sweet mom! I don't know where I would be without her! I love you, Mom!!

I've been a little under the weather since the middle of last week and I'm just now coming out of my fog and am able to put the Kleenex box down long enough to send out my Mother's Day wishes. Due to having been sick, I'm running a little behind on editing and posting to my blog. I hope to get back to it full speed tomorrow.

I also want to send out a special thank you to my sweet hubby and boys for making Saturday and Sunday as special as possible even though I was sick. I LOVE my guys more than anything in this world!

Now everyone...go hug your momma! She deserves it!! :-)

Ian & Luke

I had the pleasure of shooting a session with Ian and Luke about a week ago. I got to shoot Luke when he was just a little guy. He has the most beautiful blue eyes! He's still as cute as ever...just a bigger version! LOL! This was my first time to get to work with Ian. He wasn't terribly happy this day, but we did manage to get a couple cute ones of him. He has some beautiful blue eyes just like his brother!

I had to crack up at Luke because he was dressed in his Easter clothes but HAD to have a shot in his Batman mask! I think he makes a pretty cool Batman, don't you?!

Princess Lindsay

I went to Princess Lindsay's house to shoot her 3-yr-old pictures last week. I say Princess Lindsay because she certainly is the princess at her house! :-) She was truly a joy to shoot. Due to her momma's flare for story telling, we got a whole bunch of giggling images! Lindsay has the BEST grin and giggle! She had me so tickled at one point during the session I had to put my camera down and catch my breath! Her grin is certainly infectious because I think I smiled the entire time I worked on her images! Happy Birthday Lindsay! I can't wait to see you again!

Kristie

Kristie is my hairstylist and actually came in for some head shots. We did get some head shots, but we also played around and got a few other fun shots, too. I've had the pleasure of shooting her before with her husband and very energetic puppies!

Kristie works at Casablanca Salon in Tulsa and does a great job for me. She's also an Arbonne independent consultant. So if you're needing a new look or some skin care products...you should give her a call!
