Baby Perri

I was very happy when an old friend from high school contacted me to let me know she was pregnant and that she wanted me to shoot her baby's photos when she was born. Baby Perri made her arrival into the world a little early to everyone's surprise. This little girl is all legs (like her momma!)...and let me tell you she likes to be able to flail them around at will! Congrats mom and dad...you did good! Can't wait to see you next time!

Miss Sydney...and mom, too!

For this session, we planned a garden-type setting with a little water thrown in! Mom and grandma came along for Sydney's session, so we were able to get some "mommy & me" shots, too! Sydney seemed pretty shy for most of the session until I started teasing her a bit and telling her I was going to toss her in the pool! She's such a pretty little girl with such gorgeous hair...and I even discovered a little sassiness, too! :)

His Image

His Image is a southern gospel group consisting of three guys...Josh Kinney, lead; Brian Holderfield, tenor; and Kevin Collins, baritone. These guys have been working on their new album and needed some groups shots for it. Oh my...was it a hot session! We were kicking it in an old church that was 97 degrees on the inside when we started (only cooled to 93 degrees by the time we left!)...and they were dressed in suits! We certainly made the best of it and had a few good laughs along the way. His Image's next performance will be July 10th. Check them out on Facebook for more details!

Vote for Mark Ihrig!

In my mind it is pretty simple...if you want the most qualified, best man for the job...then vote for Mark Ihrig for Creek County Associate District Judge.

Miss Jacie

As you can see Miss Jacie is totally adorable! With her curly, tousled hair, big blue eyes and HUGE smile...darling pictures were sure to follow! Her mom was so nice and came super prepared with such CUTE outfits which makes a session so much more fun! We were having so much fun that I think we left something at about every location we visited! LOL! I enjoyed Jacie and her mom very much and can't wait to see them again! Happy 1st Birthday!!

Drake turns 18!

ALMOST!!! Drake really turned one a while back, but the weather did NOT cooperate with us. With the slightest mention of scheduling an appointment for him, the skies would open up and pour every time! I hadn't got to see Drake since he was just a little guy...and well, he's not such a little guy anymore! LOL! Things were going well with Drake until right at the very last when he tumbled off a step and busted his lip! Poor guy!! We figured with a mouth full of dirt and a fat lip later...it was time to call it a day. Thankfully, we did get some really cute shots of him before the spill!

The Cook Family

I had the pleasure of working with the Cook family recently. We met at a friend's house with a beautiful yard for their session. Max is currently running for re-election for District Attorney in District #24 for Creek and Okfuskee counties and needed an updated family shot for his campaign. I think the family will attest to the fact that it was SUPER steamy...so we tried to get through the session as quickly as possible before everyone melted. The Cook's are such a nice and welcoming family that I even got an invite for dinner! Good luck with your campaign, Max!

The Mackey Sisters

I became acquainted with the Mackey family about a year ago when I shot Nikki's senior session. Her mom told me she would love to come back and have some sister pictures done with her other daughter, Erica. I was so excited when she called to set up the appointment, because Nikki and her mom were so much fun to work with. (Nikki was my senior that had the AMAZING eyes...one brown and one green!). It was a pleasure meeting and working with Erica, too...and you can totally tell they are sisters! LOL! You can also tell how much they love each other, and they brought such a fun and playful energy to the session which makes my job easy!

Itzy Bitzy | Shoe Session #2

I usually choose to shoot the Itzy Bitzy shoe sessions in two groups just because it gets pretty crazy trying to get that many little ones styled and fitted at one time. It was super steamy for this session and many of my little squeaky models were starting to melt a bit. But they were all troopers and did a great job for me! I would like to send out a special thank you to Maggie Mae, Riley, Aubree, Elizabeth and Tori for being great little models!

Itzy Bitzy | Shoe Session #1

Yep, it's that time of year again...time to shoot all the new shoes and hair accessories for Itzy Bitzy. The sessions got pushed back a little later in the month due to all the rain, but we finally managed to get them shot. It was a crazy fun time with all the little squeaking people running around! I've always considered myself a pretty fortunate photographer because I have the cutest mini clients ever! I wanted to give a special thank you to the kids that participated in the first of two shoe sessions. Thank you to: Abby, Ruby Grace, Tate, Brynlee, Cale, Aislinn and Jacie. You guys rock!
