Hunter & Will

What a session I had with these two!! The last time I had a session with Will, he wasn't mobile. Let me tell you...he has found his legs!! I always enjoy hanging out with Hunter because talking to him is like talking with an adult. You can learn some very interesting things from Hunter! These boys were busy, but we hung in there and got some cute shots anyway!

The Stone Girls

Aren't these girls just adorable?! I will admit I am partial because they are our little cousins. We are a family full of boys...so it's nice to have some girl power around! Their daddy is the pilot that took us flying in the helicopter. So the bigger girls got to fly down for their session while Chloe rode with mom. For their session, we finally had the first nice day in two weeks...however the wind was giving us fits with their hair! These pictures were also special because they were for Chloe's third birthday! Happy Birthday Chloe!!

The Coulombe Family

It's been a long time coming that I finally met the Coulombe family! Whitney contacted me, probably a year ago, about scheduling a session. Finally, for her and Jaceline's birthday, she figured it would be a great time to finally shoot the session. Of course the weather was not exactly on our side, but we certainly made the best of it! Jaceline was such a doll! Happy Birthday Jaceline!

Flying...awesome!

While I reserve my blog primarily for "work stuff," my weekend was just too cool not to share. Dustin, my husband's cousin, is a pilot and was cool enough to bring a helicopter down and land it in our pasture! Now I am VERY, VERY scared of heights, but I wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to go flying, because frankly, how often do you have a helicopter land in your front yard offering to take you for a ride?!

I grabbed my camera and off we went. I absolutely LOVED it...and it was so cool seeing everything from that perspective. I will admit that I hung onto the window the entire time (why...I have no idea). And I probably fussed a little at Dustin every time he did anything but fly straight...but hey, I felt like that was a huge accomplishment for me to even get IN! I really, really want to go again now. It took almost the entire ride for me to get over my terror and actually relax enough to enjoy it.

Dustin works for Channel 6 but also does flying tours on the side with Tulsa Helicopter. If you ever take a Christmas light tour in Tulsa...he just might be your pilot!

Thank you so much, Dustin, for taking the time to give our family such cool memories! We are game to go again anytime! :-)

Dustin giving us our "pre-flight instructions."

Taking off from our pasture.

The lovely Bristow City Lake.

The shot that made the entire trip worth while for me. The 23 acre pond that was my front yard, and land where I grew up.

Dustin being his calm and cool self. Me having a stressed/tense smile...but having an awesome time!

Jerrah | Oologah High School

First let me say that Jerrah has obvious outward beauty...but this young lady is just as beautiful on the inside! It's always such a pleasure to work with such nice seniors. I truly had the best time with Jerrah and her mom. And let me tell you, I stuck this girl in some pretty "wooly" places and she was game for anything!! So glad you guys made the trip down...and I wish you the best of luck with your senior year, Jerrah!

Cooper & Mallory

After having to reschedule Cooper and Mallory once due to some crazy Oklahoma weather, I finally got the chance to meet them a couple of weeks ago when they came down for their session. What adorable kiddos! They were so easy to work with...and so happy! I think we got some really cute shots of them. I hope to see you guys again soon!

Parker & Hudson

These boys made their way down a couple of weeks ago for Hudson's second session and Parker's first. Little Mr. Hudson, I believe, has tripled in size since his newborn session!! What a BIG boy! Parker found the kittys where we were shooting much more interesting than the session itself! They are both adorable and I can't wait to see them again!

The Palmer Family

I had a really great session with the Palmer family a couple of weeks back (yes, I'm behind on editing!). Little (big) Colby had to be about the happiest 8-month-old I've worked with! I don't think there was one time that we put him anywhere that he wasn't smiling! He has an amazing set of blue eyes, too...that I fell in love with!

Baby Camdan

So...Baby Camdan is my first Harley-ridin' newborn! LOL! What a fun session I had with the Highfill family! As soon as I walked into their home, the first thing I noticed was the mess of dark hair on Camdan! He is SO cute! We got to do a lot of fun stuff with him...and he did great! Here are just a few of the cool shots we managed to capture...

Congratulations Bolin Ford!

Bristow's landmark, Bolin Ford, has been through a lot over the last year. They survived a horrible fire last December that took out a good portion of their building, as well as many vehicles. They prevailed to see their 50th anniversary of being in business...as well as the all-important ground-breaking ceremony of the new building that is set to be built very soon! It was an honor to be a part of their celebration!
