Just a reminder...

...the studio will be closed from June 30th to July 8th. I will have very limited phone and email access, so most likely emails and phone calls will be returned after July 8th. Orders that have already been placed will be shipped to your home or ready for pick up this week. All other orders will be completed when the studio reopens. See ya soon! ;-)

Kolton & London

I had the pleasure of working with Kolton and London recently. Kolton is such a sweet and handsome guy...and so helpful and polite! London was a little shy at first, but then she warmed up to me for some shots...and then pretty promptly decided she was done with her session. :) Here are a few from their session...

David | Prairie View High School

While visiting from Colorado, David came to see me for his senior pictures. His mom and I go way back...from the days of big hair and rolled up jeans...yes, high school! And I don't think I had seen her since high school either! David wasn't terribly enthused to have his pictures taken, but we drug him along and tried to make it as fun as possible. LOL! Here are a few from his session...

Miss Brenlynn

Hello modeling agencies out there! I have your new child star...Miss Brenlynn! This girl has such a beautiful and unique look and personality to boot! I was very much looking forward to this session because I had seen Brenlynn when she was a baby and knew just how cute she was. This was a great session except for ONE detail...I lost my trusty reflector. Yes, my original reflector I've had since I started. I went back for it and it was gone. I'm assuming I will see it in someone's car window at Walmart. :( (Who steals a reflector anyway??)



P E R S O N A L I T Y...

Miss Addison

I was so excited to work with Miss Addison again, because she was such a CUTE baby, and I couldn't wait to see how much she had changed. Let's just say I was way more excited to see her than she was to see me. LOL! She was NOT a happy camper through the entire session. I think I got ONE grin out of her the entire time and that was thanks to big sis, Taylor. Thankfully, even her serious faces are adorable. :)

Miss Josi

Miss Josi was such a delight to work with. She's such a pretty girl...inside and out. We shot a few shots in the studio and then moved outside and shot a few more. Her mom and I decided that she needed a little 90's poof to her hair to fluff her up a little (which, of course, her mom and I can totally relate to) and we thought she looked great...but she wasn't too sure of her "poofy" new look! Haha!

Love me some Cooper!

How can you not love Cooper when he's sporting a Johnny Cash t-shirt and some Converse? He is one cool little dude. Cool...but busy. Haha...he doesn't wait around for anything, so you have to be quick. I enjoyed watching him run with reckless abandon. And I will stress the word reckless! He pancaked more times than I could count, and he never missed a beat. So I guess you can add tough to his list of adjectives, too. :) It was SO hard to pick just five to post to the blog. So in no particular order...

Miss Sara is ONE!

Little Miss Sara has done nothing but get cuter since the last time I saw her. She has such big, pretty eyes with long eyelashes. Unfortunately, on the day we were taking her photos, she was not impressed with the scenario! LOL! She was having a rough day, and she cried for a good portion of the session. When we realized being outside wasn't working, we headed to the studio to see if that would work at all. We were able to get a few shots in between the tears, but that was about it. I'm putting in my order to see Miss Sara again, soon, so that we can get some really cool outside shots! Happy First Birthday! :)
