When I scheduled Keleigh's appointment, I really didn't realize who she was and that I knew her family. So it was a great surprise when her and her mom showed up I realized just who they were! We had a really fun time shooting Keleigh's session. She is such a pretty girl...and so sweet too! We got so many great shots, it was hard to narrow it down for the blog!

Baby Casyn

I had the pleasure of shooting Baby Casyn's newborn session recently. This was a special session because he is the son of my way-back best friend, Rachel. :) I say way-back because we've been friends since the third grade! Baby Casyn was such a good baby during his session (and so cute!). I was so excited to see all that dark hair...a little different than what I was used to seeing with big sister and big brother! :) Here are a few from his session...

Saje & Sammy

Saje and Sammy came to see me a couple of weeks ago...and I must admit, they gave me a run for my money! I think Saje might have been the first little one that just wasn't too fond of me no matter WHAT I did! :) And while Sammy was a content little man, we had a really tough time getting any smiles out of him. Maybe we can try an outdoor session in the future and they will be a little more hip on that idea! Here are a few from their session...

To Chris...

Yesterday heaven was graced with another angel. My dear friend, Chris, finally lost her battle with breast cancer. While she was an amazing fighter through it all, I remember her because of the person she was...and the talented photographer she was. She touched so many lives that it's truly crazy to try to put into perspective.

So today at 2 p.m. CST, all of us...photographers, friends, family...made a toast to her with her favorite beverage...Dr. Pepper! :) It's quite possible if you were out and about today around two o'clock...across the United States (literally) you might have seen someone toasting her.

One for me and one for you...



Here's to you my friend...thank you for making your place in my heart!

@ the Kidshow in Las Vegas!

OK...so I wasn't EXACTLY in Las Vegas, but some of my work was! Itzy Bitzy had a booth set up at the Kidshow in Las Vegas recently which displayed their awesome products and featured some of my prints and some of your beautiful kiddos! These photos are courtesy of Michelle Reusch from Itzy Bitzy.

John | Bristow High School

It's always an adventure when you hang out with Johnathon! We went all over his land and did some four-wheeling in his truck! We had a lot of fun and saw some pretty cool places. One of my favorites was a field that I would give anything to transplant to my house...it was beautiful! Johnathon is all about the outdoors, his truck, his dog and hunting...so that's what we shot! Best wishes on a great senior year!

Kate | New Castle High School

I think Kate's session might hold the record for being the most rescheduled...LOL! As we all know the weather has been a little flaky to say the least. It pretty much held true for the day of her session as well. We managed to have sun, clouds, wind and gloominess all within the time it took to shoot her session. We still came away with some really cool stuff! Kate was a lot of fun to work with and is obviously beautiful...and very sweet too! :) Best of luck with the rest of your senior year, Kate!

Cody | Glenpool High School

So I will admit that Cody was not my most willing subject, BUT I do think I somewhat won him over by the end of the session. :) I enjoyed meeting Cody and his mom. They made the trip down from Glenpool and we spent the morning working to get some cool shots. Best of luck with your senior year, Cody! Here are a few from his session...

Tanner & Mallarie

This brother and sister duo are quite the pair! As pretty and handsome as they both are...they are equally as nice. I had a lot of fun working with them and their mom on what was my first outdoor session in what seemed like MONTHS! Since it was a pretty large session, I had too hard of a time trying to narrow it down to just five to post...so there are a few more than usual. :)

FINALLY done!

I've been working as I've had time (lately) at trying to get the website completely updated. Today is the day! It's FINALLY done! All galleries are up-to-date! I'm amazed at just how long I had let it go...shame on me! It was actually kind of fun, though, going back and revisiting sessions from months back. :) So what are you waiting for? Go check it out!!

Miss Berlyn

I was fortunate enough to work with Miss Berlyn back around Christmas and just fell in love with her then! I couldn't wait to see how much she had changed when she came in this time. I couldn't imagine that she had gotten any cuter...but guess what? She did! :) I think she is an absolute doll with the biggest, prettiest, blue eyes! Thanks for bringing her in, Nicki! Miss Emileigh

This little bundle of sunshine completely brightened my day! She was smiling as soon as her momma walked in the door with her. No matter what we did...she thought we were pretty darned funny! She also has a really cute big brother...and I can't wait to get my hands on him for a session, too! Can't wait to see you guys again!
