Dillon | Depew High School

Dillon was my last senior of 2010! (I think...haha!) I enjoyed my session with Dillon and his mom. He was like most senior boys and wasn't all that enthused with having to be a part of having his picture taken, but he humored us long enough to get through it. :) Best of luck with your future, Dillon!

Patti Matthews | Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Patti Matthews who is the Bristow District Teacher of the Year! She is now competing to be one of 12 finalists for Oklahoma Teacher of the Year. Since she needed a current portrait for her portfolio, she came to see me! I was very happy to work with Mrs. Matthews as she is someone I've always admired. She is not only a wonderful teacher who has devoted 34 years of her life to teaching...but also a very sweet and kind person. I would also like to add (and she may kick me for saying this)...she's timeless! I swear she looks as beautiful today as she did when she taught when I was in elementary school!

The 12 finalists will be announced in July and the winner will be chosen in September. Best of luck, Mrs. Matthews! You would definitely have my vote! :)

Miss Molly Beth

I first met Miss Molly Beth back in the fall when I shot a session with her family. Of course, I thought Molly was just adorable, but I was so impressed with how she listened and how fun she was to photograph. So her mom promised her a session in the spring...which was wonderful other than we had to reschedule numerous times due to all the rain! We FINALLY were able to get together and shoot her session...and oh what fun we had! Here are just a few sassy shots from Molly's session. :)

Woolery Music Program Recital

Today was the much anticipated recital for all the Woolery Music Program kids. I must say they did a fantastic job! Each and every kid worked hard all year for their moment to shine today. Thank you to Marla and PD Woolery for your love of music and dedication to teaching our kids! The show was awesome! Here is a small sampling from the rehearsal. Little Taterbug

I LOVE this little guy! In my book you just don't get much cuter. This mini cowboy did such a great job filling his daddy's boots and hat. :) He's only three, but he listened and did just what I asked him to. I'm pretty partial to those big blues. :) He's got two older, very darling sisters...and a baby sister on the way. Yay for another cute client!! :)

Baby Holly

I was so happy to finally get to meet Baby Holly! I was excited that she had so much hair! I think it was the first time that I actually got to use clips in a newborn's hair! :) Mom, Jenny...and Aunt Amy were there for Holly's first session. So even though Holly gave us a run for our money, I was in good company! I can't wait to see how she grows and changes. Congratulations to Jenny & Ross!

The Droz Family

The Droz kids have MUCHO personality! The trick is keeping up with them to capture that personality! LOL! This session served a couple of purposes...first and foremost, it was to celebrate Mallory's 5th birthday. Secondly, it was to attempt to get a family shot. Notice I said "attempt." :) Thankfully, we actually accomplished both, but I think the adults involved were worn out by the end of the session! I always look forward to working with the Droz kids because they are adorable and they have the most beautiful blue eyes!

Lane Whitehouse is a long-time friend of mine, so I was happy to shoot him and his family for his campaign. Lane is running for Creek County Commissioner, District 3. I just love Lane's family and we had a good time and a lot of laughs during this session. :) Best of luck, Lane!

Happy Birthday Lindsay!

I was very excited when Lindsay's mom called and asked me to shoot Lindsay's birthday party at her school. I got to meet some of the coolest little kiddos! I would have to say the icing on the butterfly cookies and the bubbles were probably the hit of the party. :) Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your special day! It was my pleasure getting to meet the awesome teachers and Lindsay's friends including: Alyx, Evangaline, Eli, Elliot, Avery, Caileigh and Kyle.
