I've had the pleasure of working with Perri since she was a newborn. We haven't had a session (until now!) where her momma wasn't in almost every shot...she's partial to her momma, you see. :) I was thrilled when she came with momma and daddy this time and we triple-teamed her and got some fantastic smiles! In fact, there were so many great shots, it was very hard to just choose five to post on the blog. I hope we are setting a trend for future sessions!! :)
The last time I saw this little guy he was just a cute little baby. He's now grown into even a more handsome little man! He wasn't too willing to have his picture taken at first. However, I did a little finagling...which included having mom take the squawky chicken to get a drink (don't ask)...and magically, his personality came alive. We got some really cute shots of this handsome guy.
This was my first time meeting Bri and Cooper. Bri is as sweet as they come. And Cooper, well, we decided really quickly he would probably do better with an outdoor session! He's at that age of not caring to stay still for too long! They are both such sweet kids and I enjoyed meeting and working with them. I hear poor Coop took a tumble and injured his mouth recently. He had some oral surgery today (ouch!). We are thinking about you, Coop, and hope you are feeling better! I will see you soon...for an outdoor session! :)
Carly and Parker came in for one of my mini-session specials. I always have a good time with Carly and Parker. Carly is a natural and, well, Parker has more personality in his pinkie than 10 people put together. Even though they were with me only a short time, we got some cool shots of these kiddos. And rumor has it that today is Parker's birthday! Happy 10th birthday, Parker! :)
When Ann called and asked if I would make the trip to her house to shoot a four-generation photo...I was pretty excited. First of all, Ann was so super nice to visit with on the phone, it was like I had known her for forever. And then the thought of capturing four generations together was pretty special to me. But that wasn't even the best part. The best part was meeting Mimi! I'm not sure what adjectives to use to describe this lady...cool, special, hilarious, or maybe just a complete mess! :) Such a neat family! Thank you for the opportunity to work with you guys!
I was so happy to finally meet Baby Hadley and her mom and dad. She was such a tiny and precious little thing. She did great for her first session! We were able to shoot some asleep shots AND awake shots without too much fuss. She was my little guinea pig for the "hanging baby" shots. I did figure out a few things that will make it easier for the next time...but thankfully she was tolerant enough of me in order to at least try it out! :) Mom and dad...you did great! She's precious! I can't wait to see you again!
Man, is he not just oozing cuteness or what?! This was such a fun session because he was such an adorable and happy baby...and even his serious faces were adorable. I worked with this family a couple of years back, and shot Zaidyn's three brothers and sisters. I was very surprised when Baby Z's mom called and said they had added to the family! It was so nice seeing you guys again! And you did good...Baby Z is a keeper!! :)
I've been trying to think of just what I could put in this blog post. You see, Cassady's mom...Ashley...is a very good friend of mine. And I know if the shoe was on the other foot, she would not hesitate to say something to embarrass me or give me a hard time. But I think I'll take it easy on her this time and just be thankful that she actually let me take her picture! :) It was a pleasure, as always, to work with Miss Cassady. I love this kid to pieces. I always feel more educated after having visited with her. This time, she informed me what she was asking for from Santa. I'm a little late in getting this blog post up...I'm going to have to check and see if Santa delivered on the doll house. :)
The look I get at LEAST once every time I work with Cassady. :)
It's kind of funny because I remember Ryan as an ornery little mess from years back. Now I think he's probably just a bigger ornery mess. ;-) He was my typical senior guy that could have cared less to have his pictures taken and he brought his dad along to help who was equally as enthused! LOL! I don't think I tortured him too much, and we managed to get some good shots. It was very nice seeing you again, Ryan! Enjoy the rest of your senior year!

About Me
I suppose this is where I am supposed to put a little something about myself. Well, let's see...I'm a wife to my hubby, Mike. He's just an all around pretty sweet guy. I have two ornery little boys, Cale and Luke, who are forever keeping me busy. My family means more to me than anything in this world which is why I always feel honored to have the privilege of being a part of capturing memories for your family. It is always my goal to get to know you and your family and provide you with images you will cherish for a lifetime.
